Q. Is there a moving truck available on site?  

A. Yes, contact the nearest location for availability.  Some features not available at all locations.

 

Q. Can I purchase boxes, locks, and moving supplies?  

A. All locations offer a full line of moving and packing supplies.  Click on our Products & Services link to view the full line of moving and packing supplies.

 

Q. Do you have moving carts, dollies, appliance dollies and hand trucks?

A. Yes, all locations offer these items to customers.  Hand trucks and appliance dollies are also on the rental program.

 

Q. Can anybody drive onto the property?

A. Storage Master® has limited access to the property.  You will need a security code in order to access the property.

 

 

Q. What are Climate-controlled units?

A. For an extra level of protection for temperature sensitive valuables, Storage Master® offers heated and cooled storage at most locations.  Our climate-controlled units maintain a temperature between 55 and 80 degrees year-round.  Controlling the temperature helps prevent temperature fluctuations for items such as antiques, furniture, documents, and electronic equipment.  Our climate-controlled units limit exposure to extreme temperatures and high humidity.

 

Q. Do you offer Self-Storage and drive up units?

A. Yes, all locations offer self-storage and units that are easy to drive up for unloading.

 

Q. What type of security do you offer?

A. Storage Master® takes great pride in protecting your valuables.  We feature electronic controlled and key coded access, monitored video surveillance, individual door alarms on select units, fences and well lit property.  These features vary by location so contact the storage manager for details.

 

Q. How do I pay my bill online?

A. You must first register your account online by contacting the Store Location Manager. After registering, it will take 24 hours before the system will accept your payment.

 

Q. I can no longer access my online billing system? My PIN does not work.

A. We recently updated our online billing system. As a result, you will need to add two extra zeros before your usual PIN (Ex. 001234)

 

Q. Is there a minimum period for renting a storage unit?

A. No. Contracts can be set up for one or multiple months although it is advantageous to rent for multiple months.

Q. Are there smoke alarms and sprinkler systems in each building?

A. Yes, each of our facilities have both smoke alarms and sprinkler systems to minimize any damage in case of fire.

 

Q. Are there any limits to my access?

A. Access is available 7 days a week. Hours of access vary by the facility.

 

Q. Do your locations allow for smoking inside of your buildings?

A. No, smoking inside our building is prohibited.

 

Q. How much notice do you need before I vacate my rental unit?

A. While we would appreciate as much notice as possible, we require a 30 day notice minimum.

 

Q. What hours is staff present at your locations?

A. Hours vary based on facility.
